Snoopy's Racing Railway

Opening in 2023, the coaster is heavily themed with popular characters from the PEANUTS comic strips.

Working with the PEANUTS team, our XDS team created a new story for this coaster. The tale involves everyone's favorite pup, Snoopy, as a train conductor and other familiar characters like Lucky, Charlie, Woodstock, and Franklin, as Wild West alter-egos. In the story, Snoopy is trying to deliver root beer barrels to Lucy's Root Beer Saloon. Chaos ensues when his delivery is rudely interrupted by Woodstock and the Bad Seed Gang. Guests ride along on Snoopy's train, chased by Woodstock and his gang, first plowing through Franklin's Fireworks Factory before eventually reaching Lucy's Root Beer Saloon for their delivery. When guests help Snoopy succeed in his mission, they meet Charlie Brown, dressed as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. As guests return to the ride station, he displays Wiley Woodstock, captured in a bird cage.

I was the lead designer for this project and created all the signs and environmental graphics for the ride experience. I assisted in art directing the on-site team with production and served as a liaison between our XDS team at Cedar Fair and the PEANUTS approval team.

The feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive, and both the PEANUTS Worldwide and Canada's Wonderland teams were exceptional to work with.
